Cars on the forecourt are money sitting still. We arrange stocking finance through unsecured term loans and flexible repayment loans that flex with how your stock turns over.

Stocking finance — term loans

For buying stock: cars, commercials and part-exchanges.

  • Unsecured term loans to fund vehicle purchases
  • €5,000 to €500,000
  • Repay over the term that matches your stock cycle
  • No property or assets registered against the loan

Flexible repayment loans

For cash flow that moves with sales and seasonal demand.

  • Repayments that flex with your takings
  • Lenders look at businesses from 9 months trading
  • A specialist lender may consider 6 months in some cases
  • Top-ups available as your stock list grows

Loans are not registered against property or business assets, but many lenders will ask for a director's personal guarantee. Unsecured term loans require 12 months trading, one year's accounts, turnover of €100,000+, a net profit and no recent missed payments.

Common questions

Can I use a loan to stock cars?

Yes — that's stocking finance. An unsecured term loan can fund vehicle purchases, repaid over a term that matches how quickly your stock turns. Many dealers use it to buy at auction or take on part-exchanges ahead of the spring and September peaks.

My sales go up and down through the year. What suits me?

A flexible repayment loan. Repayments track your takings rather than a fixed monthly amount, so quieter months don't squeeze the bank account. Lenders look from 9 months trading, and one specialist may consider 6 months.

How fast can funds land?

Same-day approval is possible for some unsecured term and flexible loans when your full documents arrive in the morning, Monday to Friday. Otherwise, most deals complete within a few days.
